Erkelenz is a place in transition: entire new residential neighbourhoods are being built around the resettlement villages, while the existing buildings in the town centre and the industrial estates need looking after. Both are part of our everyday work – post-construction cleaning in new builds as well as contract cleaning in established properties.
For new builds, the final clean after construction is the main issue: cement film on tiles, adhesive residue and paint splashes on window frames, building dust in every nook and cranny. That is different work from normal cleaning and needs the right products, so that nothing is left dull or scratched afterwards.
Erkelenz is around 25 kilometres from our head office and well connected via the A46. For regular jobs we run fixed routes, so travel does not add to the price.
The town covers a wide area: around 117 square kilometres with villages such as Schwanenberg, Granterath and Holzweiler. On the western edge of the town centre, the Oerather Mühlenfeld residential area has been growing for just over 20 years. Multi-storey residential buildings are also planned in the new western section – and with them stairwells that need a regular schedule. The villages that were due to make way for the Garzweiler open-cast mine and are now being preserved after all are a special case: Alt-Keyenberg, Alt-Kuckum, Alt-Berverath and Ober- and Unterwestrich. The houses are being sold gradually; many stood empty for years. Depending on how long they were empty, windows and frames are dirty, facades covered in algae and paths overgrown. That calls for deep cleaning rather than routine care. After renovation comes the final post-construction cleaning – we are happy to time it to fit your move-in date.
In the town's manufacturing sector, the focus is on mechanical engineering. In Erkelenz-Ost, the largest industrial estate, industrial firms work alongside retailers and service providers. Factory floors in production areas typically have oil films and metal dust – this needs degreasing cleaners and a scrubber-dryer. The machine sucks up the dirty water in the same pass so that nothing is left standing on the floor. The Commerden business and industrial park (GIPCO) lies on the B57 near the A46 junction and has been laid out with a lot of green spaces and water features. Its upkeep therefore includes not only glass and entrance areas but also the grounds.

How quickly can you come before a flat is handed over?

For handovers with a fixed date we almost always find a solution, even at short notice. It is best to get in touch as soon as the date is set – then we can plan specifically for it.
