Conservatory & Canopy Cleaning

Glass roofs, conservatories and canopies collect green growth and deposits where no one can reach. We can – with telescopic equipment and pure water.

A conservatory is all about light. But the very glass surfaces that are meant to let the light in are the hardest to clean: roof panes, tall side panels, junctions with the facade. A ladder and bucket will not do the job – and it is dangerous on top of that.

We clean conservatories, glass canopies, patio covers and carport roofs with water-fed poles and pure water. Green growth, moss, pollen and bird droppings disappear, and the glass dries without spots. We also clean the frames, profiles and gutters of the structure.

Cleaned once a year, the structure not only stays looking good but also stays watertight: blocked gutters and clogged drainage channels are among the most common causes of damp damage in conservatories.

Every material gets the right treatment from us: real glass can take pure water and a pad, polycarbonate and acrylic multiwall sheets need softer tools and mild products, aluminium profiles should be cared for without abrasives, and we clean painted wood so that the surface is protected. This knowledge of materials is why a conservatory belongs in professional hands – if it is cleaned the wrong way, scratches and dull patches cannot be undone.

Many customers combine the conservatory appointment with window or facade cleaning – one journey, one set-up, everything clean. Just tell us what else needs doing when you enquire, and we will bundle it into the quote.

Frequently asked questions

How often should a conservatory be cleaned?+

Once a year is the minimum; under trees or with heavy pollen, twice is better. Many customers book a fixed spring and autumn appointment.

Can you remove baked-on green growth?+

Yes. Stubborn green growth needs a little more time and the right pre-treatment, but in almost all cases it comes off without residue – without scratching the surface.

Do you also clean plastic patio covers?+

Yes, including polycarbonate or acrylic multiwall sheets. Gentle work is particularly important here because the surface is more delicate than glass.

Roughly how much does conservatory cleaning cost?+

That depends on size, soiling and access. After a few photos with measurements we will give you a fixed price – and if you arrange an annual appointment, each clean costs less than with one-off jobs.

Do you also do the inside of the glass?+

Yes, on request we clean inside and out in the same visit – including frames and window sills. This is particularly worthwhile in conservatories with plants and heavy use, because pollen and a film of condensation settle on the inside.
