In Viersen we are not just regular visitors – we are based here. Our branch office in Große Bruchstraße lies right in the middle of our core area, so the journeys to properties in Viersen, Dülken, Süchteln and Boisheim are correspondingly short.

Our work ranges from blocks of flats and doctors' practices to law firms and businesses on the industrial estates. The second location pays off especially for short-notice requests: if the stairwell is full of leaves after a storm or a flat has to be ready for handover, we are usually there the same or the next day.

For regular jobs we plan fixed routes through the districts. Because several properties are on the same route, regular cleaning remains affordable even for smaller buildings.

Today's Viersen was formed from the formerly independent towns of Viersen, Dülken and Süchteln and the municipality of Boisheim. The old centres of Dülken and Süchteln are protected as conservation areas. In Dülken, the buildings around Lange Straße are mostly three-storey residential and commercial buildings; in Süchteln, on Hochstraße, there are two- to three-storey houses with brick or rendered facades, and occasionally half-timbering. The Rahser estate in the north of Viersen is also a conservation area. On the gabled houses of Regentenstraße and Nauenstraße, rendered panels alternate with exposed brickwork. For us this means: we treat render differently from brick and do a test patch on protected buildings first. Whether permission from the monument protection authority is needed depends on the individual case – on request, we agree the approach with them in advance.

In the Mackenstein industrial estate, which belongs to the Dülken district, numerous mostly medium-sized businesses operate. The estate has its own junction on the A 61, right next to the Mönchengladbach interchange. In industrial estates like this one, the work usually involves office wings, reception areas and large glass surfaces. Next to busy roads, more dirt generally builds up on glass. In the town centre and the old centres there is also public footfall – in public offices, practices and shops. Where many visitors come and go every day, entrances, glass doors and washrooms get dirty faster than in pure office use. For areas like these we recommend a tighter schedule.
